OUR FAMILY

OUR FAMILY

Lavender Grove Cares principle aim is to provide an outstanding service that works for the children and young people and is focused on meeting their needs and fulfilling their potential. We recognise that this overriding ethos needs to be set within the culture of the home, which is dictated and influenced by the Senior Management team and then cascaded through to the residential staff.

Lavender Grove Cares has a strong management team and will only employ dedicated, committed and experienced staff with flexibility, resilience and understanding. The company has four members as part of the Senior Management Team.

Director - Danny Cox

Since the age of 12 Danny was raised in a fostering household, where his father and stepmother fostered young children in their home. Over their many years of fostering, there has been no less than 18 children, from a variety of different backgrounds and situations stay with Danny and his family. Through first-hand experience, Danny saw how finding the right caring and loving home could improve a child’s situation, which gave them opportunities for life experiences which all young people deserve. Danny has shared “Family isn’t just about having the same blood it’s about being part of a loving, caring and supportive unit all of whom are there for each other”.

Service Manager  - Danielle Walsh

Danielle has worked within the Health and Social Care sector for the last 8 years. Her previous roles include supporting Looked After Children processes within the Local Authority, working in children’s residential care for children and young people experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties and at high risk of criminal and sexual child exploitation, managing Supported Living homes for adults with disabilities and managing a social care agency providing respite in the community for children with SEN and medical complex need. Danielle has a good understanding of regulatory compliance for both Ofsted and CQC and works tirelessly to maintain high standards of care for those being supported. Danielle is extremely passionate about providing a person-centred approach and achieving the best possible outcomes. She is driven, motivated and committed to breaking down barriers for those from disadvantaged and minority backgrounds and strongly believes that all children and young people deserve the opportunity to live within an environment that enables them to thrive.

Looking after our family

At Lavender Grove we look after our staff as much as we look after our children.

Working with Children and Young People who have experienced trauma, pain and abuse in a calm, consistent and caring manner can be challenging so along with training and 24/7 support we will offer reflective supervision, access to therapeutic support, and monthly health and wellbeing treatments.
